How to report copyright issues related to subtitles processed with our tools.

Last updated: May 18, 2026

We are a tools platform

TranslateSubtitles.net provides utilities for processing subtitle files. We do not host video content and do not publish subtitle libraries; users run their own files through the tools.

TranslateSubtitles.net is not a public subtitle hosting platform. The site is designed as a processing tool, and we cannot remove content that is not published or stored as a public library on the site.

Copyright and responsibility

Users are fully responsible for ensuring they own or have permission to use any subtitles they upload, paste, or process. By using the tools, you confirm you have the necessary rights and that your use complies with copyright, contractual duties, and platform rules.

DMCA applies only to material submitted through the tools; externally hosted content that we do not store is outside the scope of this notice.

How to submit a copyright notice

Please provide a clear notice that includes:

  • Full name and contact information.
  • Description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  • URLs or locations where the material appears, if applicable.
  • A good faith statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Notices are reviewed in good faith. We generally respond within a reasonable period, but since no media is hosted here, some notices may not apply.

Where to send notices

Please send copyright notices to: [email protected].

Counter-notification process

If you believe a notice was submitted in error, you may file a counter-notice. Include your name, contact details, a physical or electronic signature, a statement of good faith that the material was removed in error, and consent to jurisdiction and service of process.

Counter-notices are reviewed and, where applicable, forwarded to the original claimant. Content will only be restored (if applicable) after the statutory waiting period and if no further legal action is initiated.
